Yesterday the year 3's went to Te Papa and learnt some Maori words.We got to go in to the meeting house and we had to take our shoes off. It looked like a person. I learnt that wero means challenge .We learnt about Maori welcomes - powhiri.
We went to learn to help us with our Inquiry - Nga Iwi o te Whenua.
